Liberty London: Save It With A Scarf
Last night saw the launch of Liberty's Save It With A Scarf campaign. In collaboration with The World Land Trust, five scarf designs were designed and made to continue the charity's success in conservation of the environment.
The prints were designed by final-year textiles students from the University of Southampton's Winchester School of Art. They were challenged to design a scarf representing The World Land Trust's worldwide conservation projects which are in dire need of funding and the support of the public. There came to be over 200 entries, but only 5 made the final cut.
Lily Cole is fronting the campaign, which was actually shot in her own apartment.
The launch itself was a wonderful experience, a classy location in Liberty's picturesque scarf hall, complete with champagne and DJ sets from Bip Ling.
The World Land Trust needs all the funds it can get to continue it's conservation act on the planet's rainforests and land, the scarves are priced at £115 each and 15% of each sale goes straight to the charity which the scarf represents.
Head over to Facebook where you can win one!
